2021 TRIPLES

Ettalong teams take out Winner and Runner up in the State Triples at District level.

After this event was washed out the week before the matches were eventually played in ideal conditions from 29th to 31st March. Venues used were Ettalong, Terrigal, Wyong and Ourimbah/Lisarow.   Originally 62 teams entered but because of the change of date several teams had to withdraw.     There were some very close games with some teams only getting up by one shot.    Good bowling all round.

Semi-finals:

Annette Jesaveluk, Rhonda Keenan, Pam Donnelly (Ettalong) def. Cynthia Cameron, Sandra McGarrity, Carol McCleer (Wyong)

Robyn Holden, Karen Croker, Margaret Smith (Ettalong) def. Beverley Jessup, Lauren Williams, Anastasia Koutsellis (Ettalong)

Final:

Played between the two Ettalong teams of Pam Donnelly and Margaret Smith with Margaret’s team being the eventual winners.

Congratulations to all these players.

Robyn, Karen and Margaret will now proceed to the Region 6 playoffs on Sunday July 18th in the Lake Macquarie District.  We wish them good bowling.
