2020 Mixed Pairs

The 2020 Mixed Pairs were held over two weekends. The sectional play was held on Sunday 8th March at Bateau Bay and Halekulani clubs. 46 entries were received this year. The section winners then proceeded to Halekulani on Sunday 15th March for the post sectional playoffs, semi-finals and eventual final. Some very exciting matches were played.

Semi-finals:

Lee Thompson (Avoca Bch)  Karen Croker (Ettalong Mem.) def. Colleen Squires, Daryl Easton (Halekulani)

Denise Leete, Frank Norman (Mingara) def. Leane Wadwell, Steven Donnelly (Halekulani)

Final:

Lee and Karen defeated Denise and Frank .     Congratulations to all players.

Lee and Karen have had back to back wins, having taken out this event last year. They now proceed to the Region 6 Playoffs between Central Coast and Lake Macquarie on Sunday 26th April.
