2021 OPEN FOURS

The 2021 Open Fours were played Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th January.   Even though entries were down this year there were great matches contested with some close scores and a few surprises.  Host venues were Halekulani & Canton Beach on Monday and Davistown on Tuesday for Semi-finals and Final.

Semi finals:

Robyn Matthews, Meryl Cockbain, Michelle McNeill, Kathryn Leeson (The Entrance)  defeated

Maureen Kerr, Margaret Burns, Rhonda Keenan, Pamela Donnelly (Ettalong Mem)

Joyce Pirie, Sandra McGarrity, Cynthia Cameron, Laurel Andrews (Wyong)   defeated

Robyn Holden, Annette Jesaveluk, Karen Croker, Margaret Smith (Ettalong Mem)

Final:      Two very excited teams contested the final with the scores very close throughout.  However Laurel Andrews team came out winners over Kathryn Gleeson’s with  the final score being 19 to 16.   Congratulations to both teams.    The winners will now play in the Region 6 playoffs against Lake Macquarie later in the year.
