2022-2023 District Singles & Senior Singles

The 2022-2023 State Singles and Senior Singles at District level were played from 6th to 6th February 2023. At this time of year it was a problem to get green space with most clubs having greens out for maintenance.  Thanks to Ettalong Memorial, Halekulani, Umina Beach, Gosford City, Canton Beach, Gwandalan and Ourimbah Lisarow RSL for the use of their greens.

The players had 3 very warm days of play, with some very close results.

SINGLES:   26 ladies entered this event.

Semi Finals:

Sheena Black (Ettalong Memorial) def  Corrina Shields (Bateau Bay)

In a closely fought match Heather McColl def Sheena Black

Congratulations to both these ladies.  It was a great game to watch.     Heather now proceeds to the Region 6 playoffs at Everglades BC on Sunday morning 19th February.  We wish her good bowling against Lake Macquarie.
