2022-2023 REGION 6 PAIRS & SENIOR PAIRS

The Region 6 playoffs for State Pairs and Senior Pairs were played on Sunday 23rd October between Central Coast and Lake Macquarie Districts at Halekulani Bowling Club.   It had been raining overnight and rain threatened throughout the morning but luckily held off enabling the games to be completed.   The many spectators were witness to great bowling from all teams.    

The winners now progress to the State playoffs which are not scheduled to be played until July 2023.    We wish them good bowling.

PAIRS

The Ettalong pair of Margaret Smith and Karen Croker played consistently good bowls against the Belmont pair of Kerry Malligan and Rosemary Wayland and proved too strong on the day.  Congratulations to Margaret and Karen and well done to Kerry and Rosemary.  

SENIOR PAIRS

This was a closely fought match between Kathryn Clerke and Raweang Namutwong  from Charlestown and Robyn Deane and Michelle Treadwell from Halekulani.   It kept the spectators entertained down to the last end with only a couple of shots difference after 21 ends.    Congratulations to Kathryn and Raweang and well done to Robyn and Michelle.
