Vale Beryl Brown

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Beryl Brown on 5th July at age 93. Beryl was a member of our District for many years having joined in the 80’s. She held many positions over the years, but most of the time was on the Selection Committee. She became Vice-President in 1998 and then in 2001 became President until 2004. She accepted the position of Patron in 2004 and she held this position until 2019 when she moved to a retirement village at Kelso(near Bathurst). Beryl was a lovely lady and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service for Beryl will be held at Avoca Bowling Club on Friday 14th July at 11.00am.
